ACS Chapter Wins Award

UT's Student Affiliates chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS) has
been selected to receive an Honorable Mention Award from the ACS for its
activities conducted during the 2006/2007 academic year. Over 300 reports were submitted from affiliate chapters nationwide and the Society Committee on Education presented 28 outstanding, 51 commendable, and 96 honorable
mention awards. Lists of award winning chapters will be published in
Chemical & Engineering News. The award winning chapters will also be
honored at the 235th ACS National Meeting in New Orleans, LA on April 26,
2008.
