Degree Information

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Option III: Teaching

  • Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Option II: Computation

Degree requirements can be found in The Undergraduate Catalog. Four-year degree plans can be downloaded from the College of Natural Sciences.

Note that these degree plans are for your convenience only. A degree audit shows which degree requirements you lack for graduation. It is the means by which the University certifies that you have met all academic requirements and are eligible to graduate. The department encourages regular review of an audit with an advisor. No later than completion of 60 hours towards your degree, fill out a Degree Audit Request Form (available from the Undergraduate Course Office). You can then make an appointment to see your advisor to discuss the results. Your advisor can assist you with course selection, as well as a suggested course progression plan, based on the information from the degree audit.

You may have heard about the IDA, or interactive degree audit. The IDA system can be a helpful tool, but it does not replace having your undergraduate advisor go over a degree audit that is ordered from our office. Once an advisor reviews your degree audit with you, you will have a hard copy that you can keep. This document will show our assessment of the courses that you lack toward graduation.
